The short version: SaneApps collects zero data. No accounts. No analytics. No telemetry. No network calls. Everything stays on your Mac.
What We Collect
Nothing. SaneApps applications make zero network requests. They do not phone home, track usage, collect crash reports, or communicate with any server. You can verify this yourself — the source code is on GitHub.
Individual App Policies
Each app has its own privacy policy with specific details:
Purchases
DMG purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). We receive your email address for order fulfillment. We do not store payment information. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs transaction data.
Websites
The SaneApps websites (saneapps.com, sanebar.com, saneclip.com, saneclick.com, sanehosts.com) are static HTML hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) as part of their infrastructure — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you email us at [email protected], we'll use your email only to respond. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Updates
SaneApps use Sparkle for in-app updates. Sparkle checks for updates by fetching an appcast XML file from our server. This request includes your app version and macOS version. No personal data is transmitted. You can disable update checks in each app's settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
